Hi fellow riders, I'm just wondering if anyone believes in the use of fuel supplements for their fuel or engine oil? :secret: I've been riding for almost 10 year now and i've come across my fair share of people pushing fuel additives and fuel supplements. Many turn out to be quite crap actually, given that today's engine oil and petrol (unleaded) standards have improved from the days that additional additives or cleaners are needed... Some i've tried to satisfy my curiosity, some i've completely rejected... Sadly, as i have mentioned... crap... :flush: Recently, i've come across a brand of fuel and engine oil supplement, which as with many previous additives and supplements in the market, come with its fair share of supporters who swear by them and loads of technical data that aim to add some weight to their rantings of fuel efficiency and engine wear improvements. I was recommended the use of Nitro 9 products (http://www.nitro9.biz/) in my fuel and my engine oil to help improve fuel efficiency (cleaner combustion) and economy (improved mileage), improved power and throttle response, reduced friction and less engine brake (or kickback on closing of the throttle), and improved wear. I'm not discrediting this product and i still remain highly skeptical but i am just wondering how much this will help to improve the response from my R1, given that i was recommended by a local shop that runs a racing team that swears on the quality and results of the product during races... Has anyone tried it? :dunno
