600cc fontana crash

Martin Cardenas looked messed up in that wreck, sent a chill up my spine watching it. What happened to Tommy Hayden they were ready to put him back in the race then he went to the hospital. That sucks Roger lost his pinky finger in his wicked wreck.

Martin came together with Rapp off the start and it bumped his folding brake lever up. When he went for the brakes the lever was not there. He did an incredible job trying to pin the bike down into the grass, but just had too much speed. If he had stood it up like 99% would have, it would have been so much worse.

That was a bad crash.... did not know about the brake lever. I was trying to piece together what happened.

What was up with greg & freddie only concerned with how tommy was doing martin looked like a twisted up rag doll.

You'll notice a lot of announcers do that, because they know something is bad and they don't want to speculate about it or focus on it.
