Rain Tires

What's up fellow R1 Pilots. I am stationed in Germany where the weather is not so nice. We got lucky yesterday where it rained in the beginning and the end of our day but we can't always get lucky. Anyway, I am looking into getting some rain tires and needed help with the size. I read somewhere that they aren't the same as regular tires. Is this true? If so, what size do I need and what brand? Thanks for your help! Joel

Pilot Powers do pretty good in the rain and offer decent grip for pushing it a bit.

Actually, what RRforNow was asking was for track rain tires. It rains quite a bit over here in Europe and though the PP and 2CT's are good on the road in rain, they wouldn't be optimal for the trackday rain experience we often have here. Here's the question - what is the size conversion for rain tires? Do we run a 120 in the front and 180 in the rear? Also, does anyone know the European conversion- it's like 12/70 17 for the front of something???
