I have only rode in this helmet once with the vents closed so I will give it the best review possible.
First the helmet is very light and allows for great head movement even with a jacket with collar. Its visor gives great field of vision and is very clear. I had heard the helmet was loud but it did not seem very loud to me(remember vents closed) There was a slight whisle at certain speeds. I had it on almost six hours straight and it never made my head hurt in any places. There seemed to be no pressure points.
The main thing I did not like about this helmet was the way the aero unit was attached to the main helmet. It is held onto it by some kind of two sided tape. Even though most of it is not noticable there were some spots which seemed to be comming lose around the edges. I am worried that wind resistance will make this problem worse. I am already looking into some kind of bond or gule to make these spots more secure. The tear off stips that came with the helmet were blurry and I decided not to use them.
Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. The helmet looks good and is much better than my last one. (Fulmer, I guess you can see why). I am looking wearing it when it gets warm to test the ventalation.
Update: Used an clear epoxy glue to secure the aero unit so it has a more snug fit and eliminated the possibility of it ever getting worse. Have rode with it several times now with the vent open had it has very good air flow and does not feel heavy after hours with it on. Wind noise is kind of noticable though, guess I will invest in some earplugs.
