I'm in the market to getting new tires. Currently I am running the PP's. I am think of getting pirelli's. The ones im thinking of getting are the diablo 3's or the diablo rosso's.
Which one do you guys think would be better for someone who does alot of commuting and once in awhile canyon riding and track days??
your feed back is greatly appreciated

if you want to trackdays mixed in with your street riding get the corsa 3's.
or if you do mostly commuting, get the others... and get another set of rims that you can mount DOT race tires on :)

will that fit on an fjr? :lol
but seriously for great grip I get supercorsas, soft for front and medium/soft for backs. Lasts about 1k miles but heats up quick enough even on cold days. I get race takeoff, 100 bucks for a front and back is a great deal and you can use them for track days too.

i have run PP's, corsa, and corsa 3's. both on the street and track. the REGULAR diablo corsa is by far the best. the PP"s and 3's wear way too fast to get the type of mileage best for commuting. yet, the regular corsa gives as much grip, but wears like iron. i consistently get 5-7 track days out of the rears, and could go further but sell them as take offs after that.

Go with the Rosso's. Got them for mine and they work perfect for a mostly commuter with occasional canyon/track days... That is what they are made for

If you are doing purely commuting get pirelli stradas. They are comparable to Pilot Roads. Hardcore sport riding get Corsa 3s which are like PP 2ct. Regular corsas are about like regular PPs. I don't have any experience with the rossos though.

For an FJR, you might consider a softer tire, such as a Diablo or Corsa for the front, and a harder tire, such as a Strada, for the rear.

I normally try to avoid mix and match tires.

i just got a set of corsa III's, the 190/55 rear and they rock!
i usually run dragon supercorsa's but cant justify spending the dough on tires that wear that quick anymore (my extra hard street riding days are over)
i came off the first ride on the III's very impressed, and the havnt let me down yet.
