From your brief description, it sounds like you would be well-served by the Michelin Pilot Road 2. It's a new sport-touring tire biased towards the sport end of the spectrum. The center of the tire is the same compound as the standard Pilot Road, while the sides of the tire borrow the compound of the Pilot Power, which is an aggressive sport riding tire. Both the Pilot Road and the Pilot Power have wet grip characteristics that are second-to-none. You really cannot go wrong with any of the tires from top manufacturers. Some others you might consider: Bridgestone Battlax BT-021 Metzeler Sportec M1 or M3 Pirelli Diablo or Diablo Strada Dunlop also has a brand-new sport-touring tire--my memory fails me as to the name of it right now. RoadSmart... :fact :2bitchsla Indeed. Thanks, Skeet! That's a dumb name for a tire, though, in my opinion. Makes it sound like it's for an 80-yr. old man.
