I'm just about to purchase a set of Michelin Pilot Road 2ct. From the reviews they seem to be awesome. I commute everyday on my 07 R1 in LA traffic, and hit the canyons on the weekends. I'm looking to get the most out of my tires, and wanted to get other peoples opinion on the tires.

Get a 2nd set of wheels for canyon carving with 2ct's and put some hard compound commuter tires on you existing rims. No need to flat spot 2cts all week on a commute just my opinion no need to chamber a round

got a set of pilot 2's on my 06 R1,great tyre ,never run out of lean angle,done about 4000 miles so far on them with half tyre wear,i only used to get 900 miles to bt014,s and i ride the bike exactly the same way:rock
