Hey all, I'm in the Air Force out here in Germany and have the chance to see this race...:rock I just wanted to ask those of you who have been to events similar to this where the best seats are on the track? Generally speaking; are the more expensive spots also the best view? Are the turns more exciting to watch than the straightaways? I know, I'm a newb, but I think this is an opportunity I can't pass up on and I want to make the best of it! Thanks for any input ya'll might have....and go HAGA!

I'm going back to the states but I rode the ring(Nordeschleif) a month ago. I'm going back next weekend before I ship the bike to the states. Ride the ring if you want to ride the most challenging track in the world. 13 miles with more than 100 curves(offcamber, downhill camber, uphill offcamber. Everything type curve will be thrown at you. :thumbup

I booked the seats with a view to mainstraight but i think there are other good spots to be. All the hotels are fully booked on Nurburg and the cities nearby so be prepared there will be a lot of crowd on the raceweekend! (Actually i had to book my hotel on the Belgium side of the border, near Spa Franchorchamps circuit) ...Oh and the main thing: GO HAGA!!! :rock

You are right its on the F1 circuit. Haga is starting to get back on form. Fonse Nieto and Max N. will be challenging though. Max N. knows the circuit, he's from Germany. Dont forget Bayliss. Wish I could meet you there but I leave in 3 weeks. Have you rode Hockenheim yet. I'm in Mannheim so its right down the way from me.:thumbup
