R1eeS4e 05-29-2008, 11:02 PM Thoughts anyone?
I plan on doing 2 track days this year. I dont' get to the twisties much, but I hit sharp corners with about half lean pretty frequently. I hope find more spots that I can charge into with a little more speed but it's so congested around here.
Also considering Rossos and moving up to the 190 55 for sharper turn-in.
thx
yankin&bankin 05-30-2008, 03:10 PM I highly recommend the 190/55.
And you can't go wrong with any of the latest-generation super-sport rubber from any of the major mfgs.
(Pirelli Corsa III, Michelin Pilot Power 2CT, Bridgestone BT-002RS, Dunlop Qualifier, etc.)
FishOuttaWater 05-30-2008, 10:57 PM I highly recommend the 190/55.

Thats what I just bought... Havent installed them yet (my Qualifiers are still 1/2 good), but cant wait to try them...
:rock
R1eeS4e 05-31-2008, 08:26 AM I think I'm leaning towards the BT-016s or the Rossos. Are you guys changing your sprockets with the 55s?
AZZKIKER 05-31-2008, 08:42 AM I just put a 190/55 Qualifier on the back, stock sprockets. I like it better than the 190/50.
FishOuttaWater 06-01-2008, 05:28 PM Yes, I changed my sprockets too...
-1 front and +2 rear (and 520-chain instead of stock 530)...
:flex: I just trust Bridgestones more than D-lops, my Qualifiers are comin off for spares... Personal preferance...
*and my bad, I got BT-002 ST's not RS's...
:crash
Skeeter 06-01-2008, 05:52 PM What is the BT-002ST? Is it the same thing as the RS?
triadmotors 06-03-2008, 08:41 AM I think MotorCyclist did a review of the BT-016s in this months issue and they said that they encountered uneven wear.

Could be that it's called the ST in Canada?
You know how screwy they do everything up there. :)
Paytheon 06-04-2008, 11:38 PM Corsa III are great tires.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but though it may have been something I've not heard about yet. Maybe it stands for "Street Track" instead of "Racing Street". :dunno
R1eeS4e 06-06-2008, 07:32 PM the whole multiple compund idea is a little strange to me. with stories of uneven wear surfacing, i may just go with the rossos.
SSPKWYRIDER 07-16-2008, 04:44 PM I just put on my bt-016's today... Im sold.... they stick like glue. If i had my pucks on i would have been knee down in the first 45 miles. They are awesome. I had diablo corsas on before and i h8 to say it but these things are better. They are more stable and dont get upset by mid corner bumps as easy. I have a new fav tire. I had pilot race's, d207's and 208's, diablo corsas, the bt-016 kicks all their asses.... in my opinion
