hey guys i was just wondering if a regular digital spin tire balancer that car shops have can balance motorcycle tires. i have a friend that works in a local shop but hes not sure. If so what do they balance out to 0.00?

If so what do they balance out to 0.00? bender 06-02-2008, 08:30 PM They generally need adaptors to work. That being said, Moto gp, AMA, and a slew of other racers use a simple static balancer. I use a No-Mar static balancer and the bike never has a vibration from the tires.
Electronic balancing machines need servicing and calibration otherwise they give false readings. Static balancers use gravity and as for servicing; it's pretty obvious if a bearing is starting to hang up on it.
