cutting exhaust??

i know there is a couple threads on here about cutting a pipe down, but no one ever knows how much exactly to cut off. i have an 03 R1 with full Yoshimura TRS system and want it loader. I e-mailed yoshimura and they told me they can't help me with modifying a part for liablility reasons. If anyone knows how much to cut off please let me know, i want it loud but i don't want it to hurt the bike. It also has graves stack, power commander and k&n, and i will get it dyno tuned when its done.

I dont know about the Yosh pipe but i cut my stock pipe just past the half way mark (so the pipe was a little smaller than half off what it was). The stock pipe goes from one pipe to three once you get half way. By cutting it a little more than half off you get rid of the baffle. I loved it. I think it increased HP a tad and i liked the look. I recently got a MCM Mirage slip on pipe though. I would recommend that. It looks even cleaner, is a little louder and adds a little HP. This is what it used to look like with the 1/2 stock pipe.
