What do you guys think about running a corsa III on the front and strada on the back. Been running diablos n corsa but just getting about 1700 miles out of the back with no burnouts. I get thread showing on the sides n no track days. Just wondering about mixing it up on the front. Thanks

Personally, I'd keep the same tire type on both ends. Then again, there are guys on here mixing the regular Pilot Powers with the 2CT's.

It is all relative to be honest. Racers 30 years ago could do things I can't on tires and equipment that were half as capable as what we have to ride on today. Bottomline: do what you feel comfortable with. I recommend running the same tire front and back to match tire profile though, it may make your bike do funny things if the matchup is odd.

i was just thinking that both being diablos that it wouldn't be that bad of a match. I commute about 45 miles one way to work a day but also ride hard in between and on weekends. just trying to find a good setup.

It will work fine. Just be mindful that the rear will spin up more readily than it would with a stickier tire.

i know alot of guys that ride pretty aggresive and they just have a OEM bridgestone on the front and pilot powers on the rear. they have had no problems.

I also know riders who run different front to back. Should have no worries.
