I like the concept, just not diggin' that artist style of fire. here are some more free flowing not so stenciled versions. Not knocking your bike at all, I am just around custom art all the time with my profession so I am a tough critic on art. http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o172/Jamin_Creations/busagraphicandfire.jpg http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o172/Jamin_Creations/firer1.jpg http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o172/Jamin_Creations/C6Vette.jpg http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o172/Jamin_Creations/100_0791.jpg http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o172/Jamin_Creations/100_0754.jpg

I have never painted anything before and my father in law paints rc boats once in a while.

Like I said I was not putting it down at all. For a first timer that is a great job. Man I know people that have been painting for years and can't even do that. A little work on your flow and you could make some really killer stuff. I think the helmet came out really nice.

I am looking for an 04 r1 to paint this winter. Thanks man.

thank you, the helmet was done just after we finished the bike so you can see how quickly i was getting better. that one was an HJC, this winter i am painting an Icon domain helmet the same way. i'm a wildland firefighter so i kinda have an obsession with fire. more like a pyro with a badge.

Definately keep painting. I usually print out a picture of real fire and use that when I am painting to help me keep the flow loose and natural. I think you are definately well on your way in progressing. You can see the helmet was more loose and comfortable. Let us all see if you get that newer bike and paint it up.
