Security??

I am driving from FL to San Diego with my '01 R1 in the back of my truck. I really haven't had to worry about security until now because I have a garage and have always kept everything of any importance in there. I have never been to CA and will be stopping overnight a few times on the way. I am just wondering if anyone has any info on locks and cables etc. I would like to use it both in my truck and be able to use it in a parking lot. ANy ideas will help. THANKS!!!:flex:

I used some thick guage chains and padlocks from Home Depot, and chained that thing to the bed of the truck. Of course stealing the truck would be easier than taking the bike.... :\ Or get a 1st floor hotel and park it in the room!

Or get a 1st floor hotel and park it in the room! :confused: i hope you mean ground floor ! :lol I have done the same, push it into my room, when no one is looking, chains and locks will work too. But seperate the bike and the truck otherwise you might en up loosing both. Good idea
