I've never taken my bike to the track so all I do is street riding but I do ride pretty hard when ever I can. I've got a little over 3000 miles on my Diablo Corsa's and I really like them, they've got a lot of grip but my buddy's keep telling me that when im ready for tires to just settle for the cheaper Diablo Strada's because they'll last longer and they have good grip too, and that the corsa's are designed more for the track. So can anyone tell me if they've felt a difference between the two. And is there a big difference in tread life? I'm all about saving money but I also belive you get what you pay for. Looks like saving's would only be about $30.00

Your buddie's right. I had Stradas on last year for a while, and even used them for a track day, with no traction issues. I wasn't the fastest guy out there, but I was dragging my knees in most turns. Note that at extreme lean angles they started to tear up on the side/edge of the tire (they aren't fully rounded over like track/race tires) so I wouldn't recommend them for track use.
That being said, they've got good traction and wear really well. I liked them for street use.

I slapped on some Stradas about 800miles ago. My guess is they probably wouldn't show alot of wear right now. I ride 90 miles a day, + whatever we have going on, for the weekends. I was sketchy taking to the canyons, but they actually felt pretty good. I dont drag knee, on the canyons, but I felt pretty secure, traction was good. I havnt tried the Corsa.

I had corsa's on my 05 R1 and they were the best tires i ever had. but if money is no object and you ride as hard as i do you will be replacing them every 3000-4500 miles. i just bought and 08 R1 and the corsa's came stock on the bike which is nice cause i know they will stick like glue. but if you want the same stickiness and perfomace with twice the tire life try Metzler's M3's. Me, im just a Pirelli guy, also have a pair of Diablo Rosso's waiting to get swapped on.
