Stealth R1

2003 R1 998cc stock seats clear flush, blinkers carbon fiber scorpion exhaust, mirrors removed, clean undertail, Power comander, K&N air filter, Diablo corsa rubber, Got this bike in the cold months and decided to "murder it out". Turned into a stealth fighter since the frame, subframe, swingarm all come black on these. I really like the way it came out, So far great reactions from everyone local that has seen it. A few requests for me to paint their own bikes just like it. I have been thinking of pinstripping one of the flat black ones i do. Subtle but just a little pop. Thanx. I can disappear at night on that thing ! I know I needed to wipe the rims off, I took the pics real quick to e-mail to a buddy... they are clean now lol

Yeah the v pannel is in there now. I rushed those pics cause I got excited to e-mail my buddy. It is all together now. I will take a few new photos.

like the paint job... im guessing ur cleaning a lot more now.

Actually so far it has not been that bad to clean. Sure does get a lot of attention now

get your hedlights tinted, get your shit high heat powder coated. forget that spray paint high heat shit, and tint your tail. you'll be in business

Thanx for all the positive feedback. This thing actually keeps clean rather well. I am looking at getting aftermarket rearsets in black real soon. Tinted headlight and what not would look pretty sweet also, wonder how much it cuts down on light output ? Anybody know ? Also anyone know where I can buy one of the little stub pipe, more like just a tip with a baffle in it, that just sticks out right off the mid pipe ?

Man I've been debating on whether or not to do mine this way and you've inspired me. I'm f*ckin doin it the first chance I get. What kind of paint did you use and how much prep work was involved?
