JP, I'm sure you would smoke me at Jennings, its your home track. Not to mention I'm not a racer or really that fast. SVT had some great lines at Putnam and I saw one place that I was faster then him. It took a while for me just to get that close to make the pass on him, He really is a great rider and I learned a lot following him. KY on the other hand is a Sunday riding partner and just needs more track time. I would like to have someone of your knowledge and skill there at jennings show me around the track. Let me know where I could be faster. I've only been there once.

I would like to have someone of your knowledge and skill there at jennings show me around the track. Let me know where I could be faster. I've only been there once. First off, when asking advice, I'll give you the same answer I am given....More gas, less brake. Except I'm given hand motions instead of words. In actuality, to go faster at Jennings. First, When You come out T1, get in the gas and don't let out for T2, and stay in it until you are well passed panic mode for slowing down for the T3,4, 5 chicane. First off, when asking advice, I'll give you the same answer I am given....More gas, less brake. Except I'm given hand motions instead of words. In actuality, to go faster at Jennings. First, When You come out T1, get in the gas and don't let out for T2, and stay in it until you are well passed panic mode for slowing down for the T3,4, 5 chicane. I can talk about grady, because he's a local. and vice versa. Yamaha came out with a YZF 750 and the Yamaha R7 which is a 750. BTW, the WERA national challenge leader in B superstock which is the 750 class is a using a Yamaha R6....FYI I actually got to ride a OWO1 back in the late 80's which was a 750 also...with the kit on it, I think it made about what current 600's put out with about half the tire

JP, I'm sure you would smoke me at Jennings, its your home track. Not to mention I'm not a racer or really that fast. SVT had some great lines at Putnam and I saw one place that I was faster then him. It took a while for me just to get that close to make the pass on him, He really is a great rider and I learned a lot following him. KY on the other hand is a Sunday riding partner and just needs more track time. I would like to have someone of your knowledge and skill there at jennings show me around the track. Not Bill fast by any stretch, but fast enough to keep you in sight at least. I had less than 2000 miles under my belt on the R1 at the time as well. It's a big jump. Hopefully next time at the track I can turn something a little more respectable than :26-:27

You guys took care of a brotha. :fact I was returning the favor that was done to me. I tagged along, for the most part my help wasnt needed. But MAN, there was a couple time you took off down the kill and we couldn't keep up. We just decided we would pick up the pieces when you fell. You stumbled once (depeicted in a pic) but never fell. Then a few days later you repaid your debt by hooking up a brother who was wet and FREEZING with a nice warm Intel coat. :thumbup

Oh, I haven't posted an update have I? I guess I talked to you and Shane, and a couple others . . . She is doing very well post op. She has only been taking 1 or 2 pain pills a day now. SO the pain is not bothering her too bad. The first few days were rough on her and pretty agonizing. But she gets up a couple times a day and goes out to walk a bit. She has been building up the distance. Her left hip really hurts. We are most certain that is where they took some bone and marrow. (Dont know why marrow, will ask about that monday.) I guess they use pieces of bone for something, I don't know. Basically what they do is take a rod (or two) and put on each side of her verts. Then they screw it into the bone to prevent the verts from compressing again. (her discs are basically gone between three verts) Then they open up the holes in the verts to allow plenty of room for the nerves and prevent pinching. (which is what was causing her back pain) But anyway, she is doing well. I am already talking her into coming to the convention in 09. I'm glad to hear she is doing well. It would be great to see her in '09 Woohoo Da Gap!!!! Give her a hi from me. :)
