01 r1 oil filter and akrapovic ti exhaustdereku 06-26-2008, 12:01 PM I've read about the joy of changing oil filters on 00-01 R1's with a full Akra system, and having done it myself twice now I am sick of it. I heard that there is a shorter filter that can be used. Someone mentioned one from a Yamaha Raptor. Is this true? R1 Who 06-26-2008, 11:51 PM Yes there is. I believe you change the last two 00 to 10 (5gh-13440-00-00 to 5gh-13440-00-10). I will see if I can find an old filter tomorrow, and get the part #. The number you want now is 5GH-13440-20.
