Here they come! The photo DVD's for the 2008 Forum Convention are in the works and will be on the way soon! I expect to be able to ship them by Tuesday morning, meaning that they should arrive within the next business week.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who makes the collection of photos possible! That's YOU!! It is so AWESOME to be able to photograph this week of riding and good times among good friends in such beautiful surroundings. It truly is an honor to take these pictures and to help tell the great stories that we make up as we go along...

I also would like to take a moment to thank everyone for the friendship and support that has been so comforting to lean on since Chad's injury and his passing. I know that surely he would want us to stay positive; he gave me that advice. Let us remember all the blessings that we have enjoyed in him and keep those close to our hearts as we travel this weekend to celebrate the ways that he taught us to live.

I have been collecting all the photographs of him that I possibly can. Streetjester has a great idea for a portrait project to honor his memory and we will need YOUR photos of Chad in order to make it as great as we can. I think it is a beautiful idea and a great way to put together the best things that he taught us.

So watch for that thread. I just didn't feel right about posting this thread up without saying that...

I've outsourced! A company will be printing and burning the DVD's for us. It will add a few days to the arrival of your DVD, but they'll look really slick, with a full DVD case, label, and printed discs. Tricked out! :lol

Meanwhile, I've uploaded a GIGANTIC gallery to tide you over until they arrive! It's loading now and I will post the link in a few minutes when it finishes up.

I don't think she is actually making them this year. I believe she has forwarded everything to second party to have them made for us. I'm sure it's a ton of work for one person to keep up with. Hopefully we will see them soon.

First: apologies. I hoped & planned to have the DVD's in the mail before I left for Mid-Ohio to photograph AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, but no such luck. It was a few days after I returned that they finally arrived. So, I am REALLY sorry that the wait has been longer than we expected, BUT! I think you'll find that it will be worth it...the DVD's look AMAAazing and I think that they will be a very cool chronicle of our good times at the 2008 convention. The artwork and production is SLICK...you could rent this stuff at Blockbuster! Except you CAN'T! Because you had to be there, man...

First class post arrives in 4 to 5 days, and likely sooner if you live near Kentucky...lucky youuu!

I have also included a print of the group photo in each order, since you guys are so FAST and I've been a lil SLOW...but no fair complaining because its MY BIRTHDAY!!! WOOHOO!!!

And in conclusion, without getting too sappy, but like, at sappy rev-limiter red-line: I miss us.

Got my dvd's. When I open the d drive on my computer i see Kickstands Up...but no files, it played fine on my samsung dvd player, but I wanted to be able to get through them quicker. Am I doing something wrong?

OK, Mr. Hooligan, I dunnnnnoooowww, one hopes for the best when one sends files from a Mac to PC's. Let's troubleshoot. What kind of computer do you have? Do you have the same problem with the other discs in the set? What program do you use to view photos?

No matter what I'll be able to get you a set that you can open as you prefer to. These discs were burned through a third party company. I would think that the discs would be universal, but the more I know about your operating system the closer we'll get to getting a set that works for you. PM me if you need to.
