What tire to go with??

Got an 07 R1 with of course the stock michelin pilot power tires and its time for some new ones, blasted big nails. Now the question is the michelin pilot power 2ct 190/55's, able to fit without rubbing or should i just stick with the stock tire size at 190/50's.. any advice, pros and cons with the 55's. thanks guys

why do you want a different profile?

Well i had heard that going to a 55 makes the bike feel like it wants to lean over even harder going around corners, i could be wrong. Trying to sort fact from fiction.

The 190/55 will fit. If you plan to hit the streets aggressive or track go for it. It will offer a quicker turn it.

I have enjoyed the taller profile rear tires on my bike for some time now. I say try it once, if you don't notice or like it go back.
