I have a 2002 R1 with Metzler M1's on it (I believe) and well my rear is shot. I live in a place where there are some nice roads to get out and ride on but I will mostly use it for back and fourth to work. I still want to be able to ride the corners though if I choose. We have no tracks around it will be all street. What will be my best choice for a tire? I was thinking about getting the Metzler M3's but I thought I would open up for other suggestions.

Pirelli Corsa's or Rosso's
Dual compound, and they corner well. Best everyday, odd trackday and twisties tyre.

All the above plus the regular Pilot Powers and the M3's.

No run the same brand / model tyre front and rear, they are designed to work together :fact
