I have an 05 R1 and need a rear tire, I have Dunlops on there now but not sure if I should go w/ that again. Friends keep sayin Pilot Powers but not sure if those are best for my riding style. How do you figure out which ones are best? Any suggestions????

get a sport touring tire. pilot road might be a good pick for you. hows the front tire? how many miles on it? you most likely need a new now or next season anyway. I just get a new set of tires if the front is alomost gone too.

The new BT016 are awesome. 5 zone 3 compound rear and 3 zone 2 compound front.

I would keep the same type on both ends. You won't gain much saving the front. I've always done pairs.

Put a set of the Mich. Pilot Road 2ct on my bike, love them so far, about 500 miles on them.
