Just finished up the exhaust on my bike. I installed A&R race baffles and gutted the cats, thanks to the how to section on R1forums.com, as well as painted the stock cans black.

Sounds nice, i like the painted cans better, matches with the frame. This is my next project. Keeping my origional cans, looking on e bay at present for stock cans to convert.

Damn.... sounds great with the A&R's and gutted cat!

Just rode with a friend of mine with a 07 R1 with a full Akripovic(sp) system , and we both noticed right away that mine has a deaper sound at idle and it is louder the entire rpm range.

Not sure on the hp btwn the two bike but i'm happy for $140.00 vs $2000.00
