My new R1 :O

So here's a few pics of my new R1 I picked up a couple weeks ago. 2007, bought it brand new (had 1 mile on it when I rode it off the lot). My old bike is a 1984 Yamaha FJ600 (old school baby!) and I was out riding with my parent's and two of their friends. Well we stopped in a town to get some gas and my mom kept complaining about her helmet being too big, so the other guy told us there was a Yamaha dealership up the street and we'd go pick her up a new helmet. Welp, 3 hours later my mom had a new helmet and I had one hell of an impulse buy. I really honestly didn't know what I was buying when I had bought it, but I found out REALLY soon what the R1 is all about and I'm loving every minute of it.

It was quite a bit more than that. I paid retail for it since it was essentially brand new (1 mile on odometer), which was the standard price of $11,699 + tags & taxes

don't the new ravens come with mid fairing stickers anymore?

That's not a Raven. And actually a guy had wanted that bike and he requested a few things done, like taking R1 sticker off, had an aftermarket performance chain put on it, and they changed out the wheels. But the guy ended up backing out on it, so THANKFULLY they put the stock wheels back on. But hell I think the bike looks cleaner without the big R1 sticker on the fairing so I just left it as is.
