Yeah longtime... I haven't really been reading this board and didn't know you had that wolfpack board. I just went and signed up under the name 'mayhem', but the activation link I got back in email doesn't seem to work. Can you help me out on that?

Acutally it's at the Snoqualmie summit but on the north side of I-5. maybe 15% of the runs are green everything else is blue and black and double black but then again I haven't been up there in 15yrs.

This Sunday, me, Tidbit, and perhaps Rated-R are giong to get together and work on the bikes.

Either before or after, we are sure to tear something up someplace.

I'm going to install my new undertail, and if I get frisky, my silver tac-face. I also need to rewire my turn signals. They're screwing up, dammit. Or it may be my flasher relay. Or it may be a loose connection to my flasher relay due to a piss-poor splicing job.

*sigh* No_6... the world's worst motorcycle mechanic.

Hello R1princess,

It was a women who first inspired me to purchase my first R1. At the time I was considering buying an R6, thankfully I didn't make that choice. Anyway, one night I was hanging out with my friends who all ride, when a girl about 110 lbs. soaking wet pulls up on a blue '00 R1. She said that it was her first bike, and loved it. After that, all the excuses that I had been making about big bike, scary power, etc. went out the window. I found the man inside and went to buy my first R1 that same week. Her riding up on that bike may have been the defining moment in my life...;) ok, maybe not, but it did get me on an R1.

Inspire away princess!

Patrick, if I didn't know you had a girlfriend, I would say that that is the saddest and most pathetic excuse for a pickup line. But since you do, I find it very poetic, :p .

If we get caught I have legal representation that doesn't right so we can call him since Rated probably won't be able to represent us.

Welcome to the R1-Forum and Seattle!

I'm new to the forum myself but a native of Seattle. Unfortunately I won't be riding until Feb when I pickup my new R1.

I hope you guys get some dry weather next weekend, its supposed to rain lightly this weekend so maybe you'll luck out.

I think you'll like Seattle. It's got a lot to offer and the excessive rain reputation is a little undeserved. Sure it rains here but we also have many dry beautiful days here in the PAC NW.

During the summer if you want HOT weather take a short trip to the eastern part of the state and it can get up close to 100.

I only have some tools. To mount the plate where Patrick did, we will need a dremel. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment, so no power source near the bike. Anyone have any thoughts to who's garage we can crash to do the bike work?
