Hey guys i run either Pirelli Slicks or Diablo Supercorsas. Since im a cheap ass i buy take offs, and most are already worn on the right side... Most of my trackdays are done at tracks that have lots of righthanders.
Would anyone recommend not reversing tires? I know many people who do, even on supercorsas wich have treads, so it has to have a Rotation arrow on the sides.
To my surprise, ive bought take off slicks and there were also arrows on the sides! I dont think there will be any difference running supercorsas or especially slicks at a high pace.
You guys tell me what you think.:nopity:

At first I though you were talking about GP shifting. LOL... My home track is Jennings GP and it's a left hand track with only a few rights out of the 14 turns. There are many riders/racers who do make the switch and reverse the tires with no effects on their riding. I don't think you will have a problem as long as you ride on a dry track. If it's wet you may have some issues due to the tires not being able to dissipate the water correctly.
I agree with Skeeter. I've seen several people do it at Brainerd which is mostly high speed right handers.

^ yeah that.
I'm no expert, but it's my opinion that only the rain grooves are directional.
I've seen guys run a tire backwards with no ill effect.
