Im new to the whole bike thing and im looking to get a new tire for my R1. I curently have a Dunlop (190/50/17ZR) on it right now. But I am looking for a mileage tire yet still good for high speed and cornering. Any advice will help thank you.
I was recommoned some Pilots and some bridgestone i forgot the exact tire.

Pilot Powers will offer what you are looking for and still offer good grip for street riding.

Thank you, from what I've seen there is 2 different types correct? The reg. and CT 2's I believe. What is the difference and which would be better for me.

Also should i stick with a 50 or go with the 55? Ive seen a lot of people liking the 55 better.

I definitely agree with the Pilot Powers. They are amazing. Take a little bit to work in when brand new but you will love them once they are broke in. Great for milage without taking away grip. :)

In my opinion, absolutely the only reason to pay the extra $$$ for a 2CT is if you wanted the 190/55, which isn't available in that profile.

So other then that reason there is really no difference?

The regular Pilot Powers. For your riding I think the 2CT's are a waist of money. If you find yourself pushing it more in the curves or think about doing a track day I'd consider the 2CT's. The Dunlop Qualifiers are a good choice too.
