Deals Gap Update

has anyone been to the gap in the last couple weeks? i would like to know how the cops have been in the area? i will be up at the gap in 2 weeks and plan on having a good time. we skipped the area last year because of the po po situation. thanks for any replys. later JORGE

yes, they are still in the area, but seem to be playing it cool for the most part....go to KillBoy for weekly updates on the area.

Avoid it on the weekends. Even the weekdays there was plenty of LEO's on the Gap. Try to plan your rides in the evening after 5PM and you should have it all to yourselves especially through the week. Also, try hitting up other roads in the area. 28 from Fontana Village to 129 where the Gap store is located is a fun ride too. The Robbinsville loop 129 to 143 to 28 is a rush with some high speed sweepers.

If your up for a longer ride, head into N. Georgia. I've been going to Blood Mtn almost every weekend....have yet to see any Police, and the roads in the area are awesome, without much traffic at all.
