Pretty cool mod but I recall saying it had only limited benefit on the street. Mainly a dragging mod.

on track it is must do. stock plates on 04 up R1's are weak in steels. they will warp easily. like 2 hard launches..they done. they use to be cheap.. like $1.50 a piece, when every other plate for other bikes are $6-10 a plate. but u couldnt run back to back passes or its done. so oil line helps. it helps on streets for guys clutching wheelies and being hard on them. but on track u can get away without it..just have to make damn sure u let clutches cool between passes.. at least 20 minutes. i remove oil cap and let it cool. but without line i was replacin steels about once every 3 weeks, racing each weekend..with mod, last 2 years cept for this year.. i made it thru 10 months of racing on same clutch. this year..same clutch so far.. only 2 months to go.

is there anyother companys selling these any cheaper? $100 for a coated stainless line and fittings is a pretty good deal, especially with that being the only kit out there. I'm sure the guys running extended swingarms are spending close to that amount just for the longer rear brake line.

no one else makes it. the fitting for cover u can buy, but one for crankcase...well no one i know makes it. its special made piece from germany i believe. its not standard issue, so if u want it, pretty much u have to get one from Mccoy's or figure out way to plumb is yourself. $100 is cheap compared to amount of clutches u go thru??? i just changed mine, well in process. they have been in my bike since oct 2007. finally started to slip and plates look good, but just beyond minimal thickness and steels slightly, tho barely warped. i have over prolly 250 passes or more on them. i use to put steels in bike every 4-6 passes. back when they were $2 a piece. now they are $7 a piece now. so its worth it in my opinion.
