Oil in on intake?

I just changed my air filter to a BMC today and when I opened the air box I noticed a splatter of what seemed to be oil. Not a lot, it was just like a few spots on the plastic. Is this normal or should I be worried. Bike only has 3000 miles on it and is definately not burning oil.

Normal. Mine is the same, everytime i've taken the airbox lid off, been oil in the box near the intakes. The tube coming in, is the case breather, so yeah, so oil will splatter up in there. if the box was FULL of oil, then that can be caused from over filling, or too many wheelies. But neways it's normal.

Thanks man, that makes me feel better. It was only a few spots so I guess that's OK.
