Would it hurt anything if i put some BARDAHL No-Smoke additive to my oil since its made for cars?....it says it reduces exhaust smoke, plug fouling, engine noise, restores compression and improves power and performance....its some thick oil looking stuff...anyone know what im talkin about? I didnt wana put any in if it would mess up my tranny since its not made for bikes but i see some people put regular car oil on their bikes so i didnt know this this would be like adding regular car oil substitute or anything....thanks for the help in advance and sorry if this is a dumb ? but i would just rather know for sure before i put it in and messed something up.

What issues does your bike have for you to want to do this?

i noticed when i stop after riding for a while and when its hot outside some smoke coming from my exhaust (down by the end of the header and the mid pipe)..it might be an exhaust leak but i dont know havent really checked it out i just noticed some smoke coming up underneath me when im sitting at a stop light after riding for a while

Better to find the source and fix it that to use an oil additive.

sounds like a fluid leak more than oil in the combustion chamber....no smoke out the back of the exhaust??

thanks for the advice guys...i took the farings off and where my ignition advancer is located one of the bolts was loose a lil bit so i snugged it up..i could see where some oil had slowly leaked out and onto a cable where it would drip onto my exhaust which in turn would cause it to smoke...thanks again guys

Fixing it yourself feels almost as good as fake boobs...almost.
