While I understand that it's intended in fun, let me say once again this is the R1-Forum, and not the pretty girl pictures Forum. I come here for motorcycle related content. :yesnod and be aware that odds are your going to have to replace the tint over time... Due to the light... And unless you are tinting on the inside of the lens you have to worry about rock chips and stuff like that as well

If you can, sign up for the same class. It'll be cool having another forum-er there. I've got a friend that is a coach down at the SOI course, and he was saying the MSRC is supposed to be cool.

In all seriousness, can you train a civilian girl to ride a bike? My wife was going to go to the MSF course, but if you're local and wouldn't mind helpin' a brudda out. I just don't think can pull the patience aspect. What kind of bike do you prefer to instruct? I just wrecked her gixxer or that would have been the one. She's smaller but very athletic. Likes going on the back of staff's bikes at the track....no fear!

In all honestly, i would do in in a heart beat, but i think it is best to put her through the course. She gets to go through the class room, albeit boring, there is some useful information to be learned. Then when she takes the riding portion they will put her on a bike that they own so if she drops it, it is no big deal and you dont have to worry about having your bike messed up. The riding portion also is a great learning experience. You are going slow(an average of 15 mils an hour) but it forces you to get the basics down.



The best way to learn is to take it slowly and to teach them to turn to their clutch if anything feels off at any time. Anyone can just jump on a bike and go fast, but not everyone can jump on a bike and do slow speed maneuvers. It doesnt take anyone with extreme riding experience to teach, just someone that understands bikes and people. I'm sure you could do it to help her out before and even after the MSF course.

Very correct again. I took hard core Glamis riding as a youngster and applied it to street riding 15 years ago....did I just age myself.LOL Off road gives you much depth perception in a 3D aspect. Apply it to the 2D plane of a road within the lines....within the speed limit that is...and all good.

Then again, what can a Ninja do for ya compared to our R1's. I did have a gixxer 750 after and then 1100. Glad I have experience under my belt, but always careful is key.

DUDE my firends had a party bus driver that was down with them smokin, and the only reason he didnt smoke was because he said he gets drug tested.
