I'm uploading another that I have of it. This one is a bit shorter and just as brutal. Slightly different symptom. Instead a simple misfire... its surging like I have something wrong with my throttle hand.

Ha, she sounds beautiful when she wants to work correctly. I'm getting ready to make a drive up to NorCal tomorrow and am a little mad that I can't take her. From all of my posts on the triumph forums, its being suggested that I may have a coil beginning to bite the dust. I certainly wouldn't want it to get worse all the sudden when I'm 500 mi away from base and on a deadline to get back. Otherwise, I would take her. There's nothing like road tripping on a crotch rocket. Then again, both the R1 and the RC51 were lazy boys in comparison to this skinny b1tch.

I was struggling to get 1:31s in practice, and when I found out there was going to be only one other novice on the grid with me for Open Superstock, I was hoping to at least beat that guy! :lol

There were about 8 experts gridded in front of us, a few rows of a gap, then the two of us novices. We were all one wave... so we had one green flag.

I got the friggin start of the weekend and rocketed up to the front of EVERYone! I was running in 3rd place as we went through T1!!! THIRD OVERALL!!!! I couldn't f*n believe it!!!!!!!! :ncont:
My fast buddy was one of the two running up front, and I thought, holy crap! I'm gonna try to hang with these guys... and that lasted for all of about half of T2!! :lol

Going into the braking zone for 3 - I'm bad on the brakes there :banghead: and several dudes passed me... two of them were pals on the same gen R1s as mine!!!

I had a killer battle with my one buddy, got passed him, then over took the other R1 to finish 5th overall and I beat the only other novice in the class by a minute.... 60 seconds! :rock

Ran a personal best lap of 1:29.1 :tocoo:

My goal for the weekend was to break 1:30 :D

Things have been pretty hectic lately... All kinds of shit was happening at work so I was dealing with that and while I was dealing with the work drama I had no income so I was just kinda trying to survive I guess you could say...

All the drama at work is gone and the person that had it out for me is gone as well. Lets just say his plan to get me canned backfired :lol

I'm currently working 2 jobs trying to make up for what was lost but I'm just about there and hopefully we'll be seeing my postwhoring get back into normal standards pretty soon. Whether you like it or not :)

I had a couple stumbles yesterday after riding 60 mi. Right now I'm at almost 200 and haven't had anything else... maybe she just needed time.

On another note... I think I now own a Daytona 675 two cylinder! She dropped one on the 5 S near the PCH. I had to limp her over 30 mi to get back to base where she'll stay parked till I get her to the dealer. I'm gonna try and bounce from work(I have 24 hr duty) for a little bit to drop her off. I'm not even going to start her till I can get her down there. I'm really hoping that this little intermittent problem has now become permanent. I also think that Triumph should just give me a new one. I'm sure that when you run an engine on two cylinders for this many mi it may do damage or increase the wear on it... not to mention the severe head aches and stress this has caused me. I mean, they should at the least hook me up with some free stuff. I need new tires within the next 1000 mi so that'd be a good start! Maybe an oil change or two to go along with that...

The driver was trying to hit 150 over turn 1 for several laps and cooked the brakes. Lost brakes into turn to and hit the wall...during the VIP rides. Lol.

Update on the daytona: I got her dropped at the dealer yesterday and for once she was finally missing for them. After they started her, the tech felt the headers and it was cylinder one that is missing. Two and three both started warming, telling him that it was one. He said its probably a coil going out and for some reason wasn't tripping a code. I should hear back from them soon.

I got the daytona back from the shop yesterday and I think they may have actually fixed her. The spark plug on the #1 cylinder bit the dust and they replaced it. She's running like a champ again. This also tells me that I'm never going back there again. It took over 1000 mi and me taking her in 4 times for them to find this. That makes me highly doubt that they ever pulled a plug. It seems to me to be a logical thing to check. I never bothered because it was under warranty and so I had no reason to open her up.

I think all that they were doing was riding it, then plugging the comp into it. I also fail to see how they could never have had it happen to them while riding. UNLESS it was just fate f***ing with me, which I highly doubt, but weirder things have happened.

Actually, the only reason the fairings aren't painted is because I'm on the track so much I haven't found time to get them done. The 07 fairings are being painted white and I should have them back tonight. The 09 fairings will be painted after the 17th....hopefully in time for my next OMRRA race event.
