what type of lubricants do you use?

for the clutch cables, chain and any other parts that i should know. im a newbie with this stuff, got 4K mi on it and since its going to storage i want to lubricate everything that needs to be so. also where do you buy the stuff at? thanks in advance.

you can find most of the stuff at your local cyclegear or motorcycle shop. if its going in storage i'd recommend buying a fuel stabilizer disconnect your battery...etc.. there is a thread on it somewhere

well since stealerships are bit pricy i was thinking maybe you people get the stuff from elsewhere like autozone, wall mart...??????

i tend to find autozone, checker prices a little more expensive than wal-mart, but wal-marts here don't carry a large selection of oils/lubricants for bikes, that i know of or at least the ones ive been too. online is your best bet for oil and lubricants, lots of links here just browse around. i use motul for chain cleaner/lubricant-wax. $5 for chain wax/cleaner on cyclegear.com cant go wrong with that.
