Yes we can but they will be extra. The way it was explained is that while you might be able to cut 10 on a sheet you might only be able to use 4 because of the way the material is made.

No there isn't. They aren't made up yet and won't be until the orders are placed and the money sent.

I've picked the shade of each color that is closest to yamaha's colors for red, blue and yellow. Black and white are standard colors. The gold is a true mettalic gold color.

That's what I'm going to do. My bike is blue black and white and I'm putting the stickers on my front fender which is black so the white will show the best.

My stickers go on the windscreen.. I don't like stickers on the plastics. :)

Hey Deena, how many orders do you have so far? Just wondering when orders will be sent out.

I have 23 out of almost 60 members. I would like to get at least half the members to order and then do a second order as soon as the rest are ready. If I could afford to pay for everything up front we would already have them.

I'm going to give it another day or so and if no one else places their order I will send everyone the amount and the paypal account info. I already upgraded the account to a premium account so the fees are less for me.

Can you get these in chrome...or a blue chrome? All my stickers are ina blue chrome....just wondering...then I'll figure how many I need for the trailers and vehicles...and bike!

$16 per set for gold or silver. (if the stickers won't peel right for the round logo they will be made out of a gold colored vinyl and the price will go down)

You are no longer a member of this squadron by your own request. Please do not post in the squadron threads. If you want to advertise your product do it only in a thread you create yourself. Not in any of the already established threads. The members that have already ordered stickers have to honor the money already committed. There is a contract already in place. This is not negotiable.

I have to agree that if you already ordered a decal, you have to commit and pay for it; or leave the squadron.
It's an honorable thing to do since I don't think there is a real way to enforce it other than ban perhaps?:dunno

In terms of offering the exact same product in the exact same tread, IMHO should not be done. :nforc:

My 2cts.

I still have to pay the total amount due for what was ordered irregardless of whether I ever receive full payment from the members that ordered from me already. At this point I am short over $200 from the members that still haven't sent their payment. If I end up footing the bill for the remainder of what is owed it will mean that some of my personal bills will not get paid this month because I will have to take from them to honor this contract. I will be very unhappy if I have to do that because of this.

As I said, if you ordered a decal, you have to pay.
It will suck big time if they don't, and those who ordered and did not pay deserve to be wearing a tu-tu and riding a pink harley.

Couple of different issues here, so let's lay them out and hopefully continue on smoothly.


Dragon Squadron has entered into a financial deal for an existing order on decals.
Sal_R1 has become a Vendor on the Forum, and he is will be offering decal printing services to all Squadrons. He should open a new thread within the Squadrons Forum area here (http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=27). Each Squadron will be linked to his thread so we can reduce future confusion.

This is not a competing product! My decals are rated for 7-10 years and come with a 1 year warranty. Additionally Its our Squadron logo, its in the Squadron logo thread were it belongs and one that we all have rights to, it was designed by (a mod) Kmac and was posted here. :fact

I received authorization from Kmac shortly afterward to duplicate it into a decal and I have authorization from the forum admin to sell decals on this forum.:fact

There are no price competing rules on any section of this forum including the for sale section, wanted section or the Squadron section. As forum members we advise each other on a daily basis on better deals throughout all threads.:fact

If a member has received a decal and not paid for it then there will be mod involvement. No one is going to leave the squadron or get banned for ordering decals or not! Simply not happening. :fact

No one is obligated to purchase a decal or any other product from any other member.:fact

The only decal that the Squadron rules state the members must have is the R1-014 (5 inch) decal anywhere on their bike or helmet. Thats it.:fact

I cannot afford to pay for the members that have not sent their payments to me but I will be required to pay the company they are on order with. The only sticker that you are required to have is the "R1-014" sticker. The logo is an optional sticker only.

Just for future's sake, I would never place an order with anybody until I had collected all of the funds first. Unfortunately, there are too many people in the motorcycling community who are only a couple hour's pay away from personal disaster. Look at all the people who post up that they just got their '08 bike stolen and didn't have insurance. And this economy doesn't help things. There is no sense in putting yourself at personal risk for a group of people who can't (or won't) get you the funds they committed in the first place.

The hard reality is that if any of these type deals go upside down, the forum has no ability (or desire) to get in the middle of it. We can't go around banning people for what they do off of the forums. If somebody got screwed in a Marketplace transaction, there's a little bit that can be done, but banning someone or taking their Marketplace access away doesn't get anybody their money or property back.

These squadrons aren't businesses, they're not even clubs, just unofficial groupings of forum members who happen to live in the same geographical area. There are no responsibilities other than ones you volunteer for, and there is no accountability for anything......NO official forum business, funds, etc...are transacted through them......anything along these lines that occurs is STRICTLY via people's personal efforts. Period.

Any expectations or beliefs other than what I've outlined above is unwarranted. These squadrons are intended to be self-regulating.......it's embarrassing that such a simple thing doesn't appear to be working....and if I was an obstructionist to that I'd consider some self-reflection of just exactly what the hell my purpose is, and what my priorities are. :fact

Normally I wouldn't have placed the order before I got all the funds but I was sincerely trying to get them made and shipped before I go out of town for the holidays.

I certainly would not want anyone banned for this. If things don't work out well for this part of it then I will know what not to do in the future and will use this as a learning experience.

I can have them made identical to the ones below in blue chrome but its a specialty vinyl that has to be ordered. It will an additional $1- for the 3 decals because of this. Total with S/H will be $7-. I can order it and have it to you in a week or so.

Those actually turned out a lot nicer than i was expecting... my only complain is the how all of the letters are missing little dots in the middle to seperate the letters so to speak... no biggie i suppose you can still read it...

Believe it or not it actually makes it easier to read.
