What chain kit are you looking at? For the r1 just so you know the erv3 chain is the only chain we sell that is rated for only 750cc. All the rest are rated for 1000cc or more. Just so you know that. Some do, some don't care...

im looking at the driven chain kit, 17front 48back(black) in the 530 EK-MVXZ(Black). im worried the 520 will break (any retailer input here), wish the 530 wasnt $45 more.

Well about 80% of all the kits we sell for 1000cc bikes are 520's. We run a 520 driven/ek combo on our gsxr 1000. If you wheelie a lot, drag race, or have over 190rwhp I would recommend a 530. Also if you want the absolute longest life then go with a 530 as well, but a well taken care of 520 on a 1000cc bike should give you an easy 15k miles and normally for most by then it's time for a new chain kit just because of the age of the kit and the weather taking it's toll. Orings going bad, rust in some spots, etc...
If you wheelie a lot though or have an insane beast of a bike with a turbo, nitrous, big bore kit then definitely stick to a 530.

Dude this threads like 9 months old, let it go, cancel your order and take your buisness somewhere else(simple as that), next time email him to see if its in stock, thats what i did with my midpipe, it was and had it in 2 days. thumbs up to corey, I have had no issues what so ever and have bought plenty from him.

edit: we already canceled you order stealth. It's pretty common knowledge about ASV not being able to keep up with demand. It's been this way for a good while, but they are taking steps to fix the supply issue.
