you know the ole saying you get what you pay for.. if you aren't hardcore into the twisties they'll be fine, but i would never ride on them.

i used to use nothing but shinko stealth tires i never had a problem with twisties but now that i switched to the continental contirace attack tires ill never buy a shinko again i can go so much faster and bike feels a hundred times more stable so like immortal said you get what you pay for shinko is fine if you basically drag race like i used to do,

shinkos are for going straight... get on it in the canyons they wont stick.... I heavily cycled track tire will provide better grip. There are plenty of threads on shinko...its a drag tire..its flat...

Right...main problem with Shinko is the profile. Not enough meat on the side of the tire. Provides poor handling even in town.

Just feel the tire.... There like wood compared to some nice Stones or Pilots......:fact With a credit card of rubber touching the ground, dont skimp on the rubber.

Junk. Tires = Your life If it's about money and riding, then maybe it should be parked for a bit until you can afford nicer tires.

first tire i ever got back in 02 in my squid days was a Shinko.. this was all i could afford back then... im so lucky i survived with them.. i cruised town with my sunglasses and bandana and thought i was sooooo cool, thank god i was scared sh*tless to corner carve. now the only reason i would ever buy one is to burn it off dragracing.. and that aint my cup-o-tea.. so no worries !! dont buy em, if you have the least bit of intrest in carving corners, you and your bike will be glad you opted to spend a bit more on better tires 2 pennies

I had a set of them on my bike. 3500 miles and they were shot. The back tires profile was the worst thing I have seen in my life. Very wide and flat. I would stay aways from them unless you are planning to ride in a straight line. My .02.

spend the extra hundred bucks on a reputable brand of tire, even if that means eating ramen for a paycheck... lol.
