i had order from them on dec 3 08 few stuff and fast shipping.... nice job guys:thumbup I placed an order on jan 2nd. today is the 9th, my order is still "processing" it would be nice for their site to note which items they had in stock. I hate it when people sell things they dont even have yet. I will say they responded very quickly to an inquiry i made about my shipping address. I was happy with that. To me, there is nothing worse than paying for something in full and having to wait unexpectedly for it. I have made over 100 transactions on ebay and have never (to my knolege) had to wait this long for something to ship. overall, im a little disappointed.

Actually, nothing is "unexpected" about your wait. The acumen you ordered had an estimated shipping time of 3-5 business days. It's says below the price: http://solomotoparts.com/product.php?productid=30924&cat=0&page=1 There are estimates for all our products. Your 2nd order for the speedohealer would have shipped immediately (because the site said it was in stock) but you said to combine your two orders so we did. We just happened to be catching up from the holidays so it's 1 extra business day (if you count the day you ordered) beyond the estimate for the acumen to ship. Anyways, we're addressing these issues to make things more clear and provide more information about ship times but it's a little unfair to fault us (publicly) for this as we provided you a shipping estimate on the website. You ordered 3 unrelated items across the United States after a long holiday weekend and it arrived a week and 3 days later AND shipping was free. I've ordered on Amazon.com and have waited longer. - daniel

My biggest gripe was not knowing how long things were going to take and having to go by estimates. Your website said part of my order was still processing until the day it arrived to my door. You admit that you have some issues to deal with but faulted me for talking about them in a place created just for that. If there was a rule or something about only posting exceptional experiences, i didnt see it. Im sorry if your offended by my opinions or expectations. As you also may have read in my posts, I was only a little disappointed. Im glad you were able to respond (publicly) to my post. Now, everyone gets to hear both sides of the issue. I think that called a forum. Daniel, thank you for getting the parts I ordered to me as fast as you could. Thank you also for combining the orders and editing my shipping information as I asked. I never said you did less than you could or that people shouldnt buy from you. It was MY mistake for not noticing that you didnt actually have what you were selling. I would recomend that the members of this forum actually should buy parts from you. It is obvious to me that you do care about the products you sell and the service you provide.

Actually, you asked me why we charged you and I said that you paid with PayPal and that's how PayPal works (you send us payment when placing an order) and that if you placed an order with a credit card we wouldn't have charged you. I said "ummm... I honestly don't know" in response to when the parts are going to arrive because I was not able to obtain an ETA. We do notify if there are problems with the order but you simply contacted us before we were able to do so. We do take into consideration these suggestions and are always working towards providing a better shopping experience. Thanks, - daniel

Same here, a while back I bought some Woodcraft frame sliders for my 05 R6. It took forever to get them, about 2 1/2 weeks! You need to inform customers Solo!

Um, (again), it says "usually ships in 5-7 business days" on the woodcraft products and during checkout. I'm sorry you missed it. See: http://www.solomotoparts.com/product.php?productid=33242&cat=0&page=1 We're going to make it harder to miss on the next go around anyways.

Thats fine with me, but maybe you should post "ships in 5-7 business days" in bold above the items with long time frames. Most customers are probably exicited to when purchasing new parts for their rides and can miss fine prints like that. Might save you from dealing with upset customers, just my .02 :thumbup Um, (again), it says "usually ships in 5-7 business days" on the woodcraft products and during checkout.
