Very quiet in here. It would be nice to see regional people with leadership capabilities get things started in this region. We realize that this time of year isn't great motorcycle weather, but it's NEVER too early to begin planning things within your region, and it's always good to establish rapport and camaraderie with people local to you.
Several of the US regions have already begun and are well into planning regional events, get togethers, rides etc.
Please read this thread (http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246384) and post up any opinions here. As always, let myself and the Squadrons area moderators know how we may help.
Anyone around? Several looks, no replies. Riding season is coming back to you folks. Might be a good time to organize and meet others.
Sregor 03-18-2009, 01:07 PM Can't speak for the other states, but one thing that may have an effect on CO rider participation is that we don't really have one home.
CO is divided between two squadrons (Dragon is more active, but moreso by Cali folk) and a conversation thread under local meets and events -

Good point. And we are working on having that adjusted so CO is accounted for with Zero Squadron. Dragon was spread entirely too far without even accounting for Hawaii. And the hope here is to group people together that have some reasonable chance at meeting and doing things.
So... while we are waiting for the Forum information to change, the official home of CO is Zero Squadron. :thumbup
Sregor 03-18-2009, 03:24 PM Good to know...a quick look at the Dragon's sign up sticky and I'm the only CO rider on the list anyway. :crash
Maybe if I get motivated and don't have to spend every weekend trying to put my Subaru back together, I'll organize a ride or two and see what happens, and post the links to it in the (sorta active) conversation thread that's running for CO riders I mentioned earlier.
In the meantime, a sticky for membership (like the Dragons have) might be a good way to restart the Zeros. Whatcha think?
Thanks Dan!

Just need someone to start a thread, so that they can edit it if need be, and I'll make it a sticky thread. :thumbup

I can take a hint...thanks! :) I'll also put word out in that CO riders thread in case people want to join.
Can I assume that the same is true for UT riders? Will you be grouping them in Zero or leaving them in both or...?
cheers!

That will work :thumbup
Yes, Zero is ID, CO, MT, and UT according to what we are doing.

Dragon has several CO members. Nossliw is our CO lead officer right now. Once the change is complete I'm sure you guys will be able to get this squadron up and running successfully.
nossliw 03-27-2009, 09:56 PM well we did!
