After placing a few orders for mods with Motomummy and was impressed with the customer service. I placed my order for some Woodcraft rearsets earlier this week and got them today.
I was ready to tear into the package and get wrenching but I took a good visual to make sure I had all the parts I ordered and noticed that a piece was missing from the packaging. Hmmm? I took my time to make sure I didn't "overlook" anything before making the call to Corey and THEN find the missing piece. Yup, sure enough, no brake lever included with the packaging.
So I call Motomummy and the call gets forward to Corey. He explains that the quickest way for me to get the part since Woodcraft was in my state was to talk to them myself and explain the situation so that Woodcraft could ship directly to me. I then called Woodcraft to speak with Doug (really cool by the way) and explained the situation he then took down my info and said he would call me right back. Three minutes later I get the call back from Doug and he told me the missing piece will be in the mail today.
Granted it won't be until early next week before I get my rearsets on the bike but that is fine since the temps are still in the 20s here. I give a big thumbs up to Corey (Motomummy) and Doug (Woodcraft) for taking care of thier customers. :thumbup

yah, they called us to confirm you didn't have them for like 1.2 years or anything :) We already got the tracking so they sent it out today as well. Sucks it was missing a part and sorry about that...

Well.... Glad it all worked out for you. I on the other hand am waiting for my order to go through. Keeps saying "in progress". Hmm, I ordered during the weekend, but I would have figured that the items wold have been shipped out by today.
Guess I will continue to wait for a couple of more days. If I don't hear something soon. I will cancel my order and buy from soemwhere else.

Sometimes Motomummy drop ships from the manufacture if they don't have the item in stock. Just call and and ask about the order if you are in wondering what the ETA is.

If you ordered ASV's they are behind and it's pretty well common knowledge on all the boards. We are their largest dealer, but they are just behind and can't keep up with production. I could make you some levers myself, but i don't think you would like them or pay 5 dollars for them. We have the easy part, we just order them. ASV has to build them and get them to us so they have the hard part and they just can't keep up with demand :(

I can understand where you are coming from Stealth oNe but some things are beyond Motomummy's control. Such as backordered items that are drop shipped. Corey can't make ASV crank out your levers any faster so both of you guys are at some sort of impasse.
I for one have had great experiences with Corey and everyone at Motomummy. Granted I've only ordered stuff a few times from them and not every other week. Yes, I had an issue with one order that was beyond Corey's control but after talking it out with Corey and Eric (Woodcraft) everything was cool. In fact, due to the customer support, Woodcraft has me as lifetime customer too. Why? Because they listen and they do everything in "their power" to make things right. Now a days, it seems like everyone is out to save a few bucks, including myself... however, I would rather spend a couple extra bucks on parts from the vendors that I KNOW will take care of me.
Good luck with those levers.

they are backordered and the funny thing is we are their largest dealer and don't drop ship. We order hundeds of levers at a time, but when there are delays or we don't get everything we order there isn't much we can do. I wish I could make the levers myself, but then nobody would want them, including me...
