I just got this jacket for $200.00...(pics)

I just got it via fed-ex, and it's REALLY NICE!! The leather is nice and thick, the lining is nice, and the fit is awesome. I can't believe that they sell these so cheap!

Oh, crap, I haven't had my coffee yet. It's early. I got it from the same guys that made my fender eliminator and blinker kit. Get them here... www.hugeindustries.com . They have a bunch of other jackets avail., but I just HAD to go with the Red-Bull/Yamaha one, y'know? Enjoy.

Well, when I first saw the jacket and the price, I thought: "hmmm, that would be a really cool jacket to wear riding around town!" I knew it couldn't be like a Joe Rocket, or like my AlpineStars jacket, and it's not. But for $200.00...for a leather jacket...which looks THIS cool, I figured I couldn't go wrong. So, I called their 1-800 number and spoke with a woman named Claudia. I think she was German. She helped me order the right size and everything. (BTW...WHEN ORDERING, GET ONE SIZE LARGER THAN YOU NORMALLY WEAR.) I usually wear an XL, so I got the XX-L and it fits perfect. I think she said that the sizes go up to something like XXXX-L!!! But yes, the quality is actually MUCH better than I expected for $200.00, it even has (light) armor in the elbows, STEEL zippers, and really nice velcro over the cuffs and waist. I have no Idea how they stay in bussiness. I gotta tell you, both of my experiences with this company have been REALLY good.

Really kick ass!!!!! This thing is super nice....only thing I see as being a problem is the liner isnt removable...It may be a little hot for riding in the summer time...but who am I to complain!! This is exactly the jacket I have been looking for!!!

Yea, I can see it maybe being a little toasty in the summer, I guess. But I'll never know if untill I try it. it does have that breathable material in the armpits, so maybe that will help. Aren't they nice jackets, though?! Holy CRAP!!! I absolutely love this thing. What a conversation piece. I've been out riding a couple times with this jacket, and every time I do, I get compliments on it. last night, I went for a ride to my friend's house... about a 15-20 minute ride there and back...I was wearing my jacket and a sweat shirt underneath, and I actually started to get a little warm. My G/F said that this summer she could just take out the lining for me, and sew in another next winter, so I think that's what I'm going to do.

You mean it's small like...tight? Or is it too short (when you're stting on the bike)? The reason I ask is that mine seems too short in the front when I'm standing up, but when I'm actually riding, it's absolutely perfect.

i'm 6'6" and about 230 lbs i emailed Claudia but i don't think they reply to email over the weekend i was told i could get one customized but i just can see paying $100 extra for an extra inch or two of leather i'm not really fat but need it a little more length in the body my jacket right now is a xxl and it rides a little high on the back

EXACTLY. I have many friends who have ordered from them. They have had really bad experiences. I know that EVERY company has customer service issues, I don't care how good their reputation is, EVERY company has customer service problems. But in Starcycle's case, it really just got REDICULOUS!!!!!!!
