what are you going to be doing on those tires? i wouldn't recommend that for a track day only cuz it looks too cheap for it to be good. commuting? probably good enough!

Spend a bit more and you can get these and they seem to be a good tire for a good price :thumbup

Seems like a good tire but the price is a bit on the high side. I got a Pirelli diabolo corsa for the back tire on my 02 for around $190. They were so good that all I'm gonna use when it's time for my next tire change (which will be soon). Since I brought that tire pirelli has improved on it's design too.

The Maxis tires are popular in Europe. I ran a set and had no problems doing a few laps around the "Ring" in Germany. There was a tire test a while back in one of the Euro Mags...prob Performance Bike or Fastbikes, but they rated well. I got 3800 miles out of a set on a 07 ZX-10. The miles were all on a 15 day trip through Europe that included 2 laps around the "Ring" and countless miles on backroads through the alps pushing at a good pace. I stretched the last 1000 miles out of them since I had to ride back from Italy to Germany and I didn't want to pay for a new set until I got back.

I stand corrected, I thought it was for 1 tire. I just read the whole advertisement, guess I read it a little to fast the 1st time.

They're not a bad manufacturer, a few people in the UK use them, not sure about that model though, I'd probably want something a bit stickier.

It's all good man :thumbup I guessed that's what you had done, just wanted to be sure you knew they were not a bad deal. I just had mine fitted today and I'll let folks now how they work out.

I had a pair of the maxxis supersport tyres on my bike and took them of after 100 miles they are shit, had some major slides even when warm. Even for free (which is what i got them for from a rep) i would not run these tyres on a r1 or anything for that matter.

I got Diablo Stradas just a few weeks ago. Had been running Corsa III's. I like the Strada's MUCH better.
