front inner fork

Hello all, not sure myself, but is it possible to remove the bottom part of the inner front fork that holds the front wheel and brake caliper. Thanks in advance, Steve.

yes its possible. there is small allen screw on the lower part that secures the fork tube to it, unscrew it... next , u need to unscrew the fork from that lower piece. u'll need a belt type pipe wrench to hold the fork tube without damaging it (i used rubber belt wrench) . of course , u need to remove all the other parts from the tube first , like upper tube , cartridge etc...
