I am looking for some frame sliders for my 07 R1, I would rather have the No-Cut sliders and not the plastic circle ones that you mostly see. I am trying to go for a black slider made out of some sort of metal (billet aluminum) and looks good. I have been looking for a couple days and I am not that impressed with a lot of them out there.
I don't want some chrome slider that looks like a 38 special:yuk:
Post some pics or links if you have any ideas. Thanks

Well after fishing around on the site I found a VERY INFORMATIVE forum about sliders. I pretty much no longer care what they look like and will probably buy the "cut" ones.
If anyone else is curious here is that forum. http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128670
I suggest reading and then figuring out what you would like to buy.

nearly every other application other then the 07-08 id say use a cut woodcraft slider but when it comes to this model generally when you cut it....you have to cut through the small plastic piece above the side fairign and it loses its structural integrity
i say check out motovation for good no cut sliders......they will cost you a pretty penny but imo are the best for this applicaiton.....has three mounting locations and runs qualtiy parts
graves also makes a good kit but im not 100% convinced that they are as strong but then agains they are half the price
another brand to look into is R&G sliders....also a little expensive but has a very good track record
