New squadron name?

OK,is it just me or does anyone else dislike the name Zero for the squadron? Since we have all been officially kicked out of Dragon Squadron and this is basically a new squadron I submit the first order of business is to come up with a better name. My reason is two fold, first it's zero, less than one or actually nothing at all. Second, I had an uncle who was killed at Pearl Harbour by Japanese Zeros while seving in the Navy on the opening day of WWII, I know I never met the man, but all I can invision when I hear the name zero squadron is a bunch of enemy fighter planes. Ya, I know it was like 70 years ago, but I hold grudges. I will not put a Zero Squadron sticker on my machine, now I have to figure out how to get the dragon sticker off my wind screen without scratching.

Lee I totally aggree... I talked to bunny and once we are officially seperated from the dragon guys I guess we can figure out something. Zero.... why can't we be something like the Badass frogs or something a little bit better than that:crash. I figure we can startup our own here between the UT and CO over in the squadron section...just waiting from bunny....any Ideas for a name.....

You guys make it sound like we don't want you.:cryin We really do but it actually makes sense as CO and UT are closer to this region. The official change in the squadron headings is something that will be changed by admin and hopefully it will happen soon.

Use a hairdryer or a heat gun and peel it off slowly is my suggestion. Using a heat gun on your front shield will buckle it! Heat up the decal using a hairdryer with med heat for a few seconds at a time! Peel the decal using your nail & it will come right off! Clean up the residue using rubbing alcohol.

We don't have many members, or a CO for the Squadron yet. I'll leave this open for discussion, however, nothing will be done regarding the squadron name until we have a CO and some members. I do not want to have to address the name with Admin every couple of weeks. Speaking of which: The position of CO is a voluntary thing. Are we hearing volunteers speak up yet?

Remember when Dragon started we had a nomination/volunteer thread? Once we had the volunteers for the C/O we started a vote poll to determine who would get the position. So it's up to you guys how you want the thread structured.

I was thinking, if we go with the aces logo, change the name from aces high to smoke'n aces. Just an idea, wait until the voting is done I guess then re vote if that is the way the squadron votes. Not trying to make it more difficult. anyway thanks for the props, it is amazing how many leather patterns I have that fit with the squadron naming.
