:beer nossliw! Kinda been lurking around here for a couple weeks. I was born in the area but grew up in FL and have finally made the jump to relocate back. I won't be in action until the weekend of April 18th and even then I'll be doing a lot of moving/saying "hello" to the girlfriend. I'm really looking forward to getting to know as many people as possible and scrubbing some canyon roads with everyone. Let me know if there's anything you need from me and I'll see you guys in a couple weeks!

And she also want to buy a yammy VINO scooter now....don't know why but at least she will have a scooter to puts around on and pick up my tires in the pits well I'm relaxing in the shade:crash I am ripping my entire cooling system out on the jeep this weekend and putting in an open system.... then in the next couple weeks I am pulling the head off and replacing the head gasket and probably have it decked and ported by a friend that works in a machine shop...do you know how to check valves....It just started knocking a little and never did before, wanted to check them anyways...the top end was rebuilt 20k ago but I am getting horrid blowby now.... I hope this will not lead into a ring job mid summer, but I will have my truck to tow to the track from now on.

I think I'm moving in near Governor's Park. I'm actually doing my first track day on the 11th here in FL...two days before I hit the road to head west. Will most likely be doing that as much as possible when I arrive. And good luck with the Jeep, I finally graduated from that stage of life for the time being.

I would rather rebuild the bottom end instead of buying another motor that needs rings as well most I6 see over 200k easy before they start the long list of problems....and end up in the yard

Make time to bring it by, compression test will take about 30 mins. My I-6 is still running strong with 480,000+ on it, too bad you can't fit a Cummins in there. Roger that!!! I am ready for riding weather, realistically another month, that 25 miles of open highway between me and town is brutal below 40 degrees at 5:30 AM. the ride home in the afternoon is nice. we got more than i wanted

I'm glad to hear you guys ride as long as possible, I've done a bunch of sub 20 days here, but we only get 10-15 per year. I'll be damned if I don't ride the weekend I get there.

Lee.... picked up her .40 today..... rode to monument and back for work Friday before the snow came in and now have a rear shock to rebuild on the r1...today turned out to be a nice day though(at least in town...not too warm).... BTW you were right on those tranny lines to the radiator!:thumbup

I have had rain, frozen rain not hail, white rain looks like snow but when it hits you it turns t water immediately, and snow. It is warm enough that there are puddles and standing water everywhere, ditches are full and there is only about 2 inches of snowy ice on the ground.
