Ok here are the graphics.... Any size recommendations. I'd like to stick with one standard size so its easier for him to make. I just sent him the graphics and he said they all would be the same cost.... I figure we can stay with black or white...otherwise hit up Sal and he can do them in any color you want. BTW sorry for my spelling on the poll...missed a few keys :crash I'd fix it if I knew how....

Poll choices go from the top being the very left pic and moving towards the right as the poll goes downwards..... kinda confusing:lol... got it?

With as few members as we have I think this poll should be multiple choice. Maybe everyone pick 3 and we do the run off with the best 2 or 3?? JMO What does everyone think. I really don't have a 1 vote favorite at this point.

But yeah, should probably wait on these "suggestions"...:thumbup What I was thinking is depending on which graphic is selected,(I voted for the black card as well), I will do 2 versions, one for colored bikes and one for black bikes. Just a thought, will have to work all the details out with the printer.

hey lee just for an Idea of the amount of detail and size that is printable for the graphics....he just made these for the race bike and the outline is about a 1/16 of an inch wide and worked out fine...didn't have a heat gun but they stuck fine. demensions were 6x4 don't know if that helps at all...

I like that idea...I'm going to leave it up to him. Is the headlight in yet? No headlight yet, got the fuel pump for the IROC extra volume Bosch good for 400 horse, got off work at noon, drove to the springs to a junk yard to pick up a new gas tank, got there and it was dented and rusty inside, man was I pissed.

My advice is to not rush into getting the logo. A lot of that happened recently. For now, get general ideas of what people like, along with several good ideas, then let Sal work up a few candidates. There's a lot of things that "make" a good logo when cut in vinyl, and a lot of cool looking printable graphics don't necessarily qualify to make a cut logo. Once he's come up with a few, then put them up for a vote. If you don't, more than likely you'll end up voting one in, then a few weeks later somebody will come up with a really kick-ass logo. Just my opinion.

I did not vote yet, but my only question concerning the leading logo is how will a design like that work with vinyl stickers?

nossliw
04-19-2009, 12:01 AM
Taking a second look it is very detailed and the multicolor part is going to be a problem... I was trying to stick with a single color to print..... It may look good on a screen but when time comes to make them I hope hey are not too detailed.... Lee any input on how you might be able to change that around? All I can do is email the file to him and have him print out a test copy and see what it looks like.

Looks good to me, need to put the aces back into the other 2 cards on his hat then it will be close to being ready for a test print. It needs a little more work! If its OK with you guys i additionally suggest changing the font on the top & bottom. If you guys decide to go with die cut decals for longevity sake its best to use a bolder font so there is that much more vinyl to adhere to what ever surface the decal is placed on.

We should try and do a bbq one of these weekends or maybe even a Fri night, maybe meet up around 6 ride for a couple then end with some brats and beer (polish for you nic). If we do it at my house I have a local LQ that has some of the finest Polish beer out there, and anything else:lol I hope I can swing by this next week and get the test prints from him..... I will not be able to get there till Thurs of next week however with work and school finals, and this race this weekend, but I promise to have them up and on the jeep next week in red, I'll sport some yellow one's on the race bike and then we can go from there if any adjustments need to be made.....

I have 9 other vinyl prints going on my bike next week to finish her out now that I've got the yellow scheme. I'm eager to see the rough drafts so I can plot out where the rest of the vinyl will sit on the bike. Man...my baby is looking so beautiful this year. FELLAS!!!! I have the decals done.... finally..... I know it took me a long time to get my shit together, I'm going to go put one on the jeep now, smallest we could go was 6x6 on a die cut machine due to detail, it just munched the vinyl where the skulls teeth were when we went smaller.... Sal was right on that aspect. I can have them printed on a laser jet vinyl printer down to 4x4 if need be but they will be a bit more expensive. Let me know what yall wanna do, I'm going to rock one under my tail and on my mid in black, after I get all my other squid stickers removed, it will fit fine on the windscreen, just take up a good portion of it :lol I need to start getting an order together for colors and quantity so lets get this rolling now since my slow ass finally got it together I do apologize for the delay....... finals, work, and racing has made my time disappear, I have not even been on an enjoyable ride in the last month, only been for commuting and parts chasing on the jeep heap. I'll get pics up here soon when I get back with a camera, or just look at the rear window of a red smoking Jeep on the highway in the springs or between there and denver.... it will look like its on fire from the blowoff.....:hammer

I was open minded at first, but now am leaning toward the 4"x4" vinyl. My current vinyl package is 4"x4" and 7"x7". The 6"x6" will be amongst the biggest on my bike, which will dilute the nickname I have sitting on the bike. Idealy, I would love to have 5"x5", making it larger than my Pirelli stickers and Tuning Forks, but smaller than my nickname. If you can do 5"x5", I would like that even greater. But of the two choices offered, I'd lean to the smaller 4"x4". And yes, it has to be highlighter yellow! Let me know the cost, and I can send you some cha-ching via PayPal.

06-03-2009, 09:49 PM
Chris, I left him a message this evening to see what the cost will be off a printer, not a cutter, I know Sal can have them done asap, so if you want them now hit Sal up. Hopefully my guy will hit me up by tomorrow for the smaller prints. Highlighter yellow... is there a vinyl code/product number for that? :lol I want to make sure you will get your color, might be easiest to get the fellow doing your vinyl right now to just whip one up the size and color from the digital file we have up a couple pages back. Give me a ring if need be man, miss you guys and want to go for another "stiletto" ride

...miss you guys and want to go for another "stiletto" ride Haha...yeah, done a couple to Canon City already. It is so much fun watching others stare! As for the vinyl, I fell in love with a color at the Sign Shop, and just bought the whole roll. I have no clue of the color detail behind it. The best I can think is send you a piece of the vinyl for your local guy to match it. It will be away from other yellow on the bike, so if it is close in color, it should be fine. If you want me to send you a sample, PM me your mailing address, and I'll get it in the mail immediately. Let me know.
