Sal_R1 04-25-2009, 09:56 PM I have had these on my bike for just over a week! I ride every day and have used grips from several manufacturers & have never seen anything like this in this kind of time frame! At this rate i will have no grip left in less than 6 months! :lol :dunno They are the Driven gel type grips that retail for about $14-.
Wow. That's ugly. I use the OEM or equivalent rubber grips because of all the time my bikes spend getting trailored. Plus, my track gloves are brutal on them as well.
Sal_R1 04-25-2009, 10:16 PM I actually purchased them from a friend & forum member and have not even paid for them yet! They feel great and have a larger diameter surface than OEM! With gloves on i really cannot tell the difference & my only concern is longevity!
I have a set of OEMs that i can pit on when these are done!
Edit. Found them.
steveWFL 04-25-2009, 10:19 PM http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/stevewfl/avatars/eek.gif you're about to hit metal, hope you find some that last longer

OEM from the dealer & these from pretty much most motorcycle shops with a large parts department.

Not sure about the larger diameter surface, but have you looked at the Harris grips? I see a lot of them out and about and they hold up pretty decent.

I am sorry but i dont know. I imagine that they cannot be more than $15- each. They are the standard 7/8 clipon diameter size so you can swap between the years and models!:secret:
