I had my '09 in 4 service and they seen that the water pump was leaking. The seals were defective. There was a bike w 0 miles on display in the dealer and that was leaking as well. Not sure how many other cases there are? But if u see it get it fixed so Yamaha can make a recall for it. I was able to get the whole pump replaced but I know every 1 in that store on a 1st name basis? Just thought I'd throw that out there. The place ull see it leak is 4m the zerk on the bottom of the pan. Look under ur bike on the left side by the stand. It looks like an oil pan.
