Fueling problems? PC V problems?

Hopefully someone with more knowledge of this bike has the same setup. 09 R1, Full Akra (non-race), BMC Race, PC V, Auto-tune module. Did my first three tracks days this week. 2 at JenningsGP, 1 at the new PBIR. I could barely ride the thing. Jennings is a more technical track. Not a ton of high speed turns. Anyway. I would enter the turns usually in 2nd gear. But if I dropped my RPMs to 5k or so the bike was stumbling. Stumbling like you expect at launch. Like surging and stumbling. Now on a 600 maybe I would expect this as they like some RPMs. A liter bike should still run pretty strong at 5k. I can't tell you how un-nerving it was to have the bike lurch while in full lean in turn 8 at Jennings. I started forming bad habits pretty quickly. Anyone else experience something like this? I look at the trim tables for the auto tune and it's adding like +50 in some cells. +50?!?!?! Come on dynojet, that can't be right. I checked for exhaust leaks but pretty hard to tell. Anyone have any good idea how to check for exhaust leakage? Other than that I don't know where to look. So far auto-tune has been a failure for me.

Only thing I can think of is you may have a bad sensor on your Auto Tuner. :dunno I would call DynoJet and ask them. :fact

2nd gear in the 09 is probably too slow to take some 'technical' track turns imho. The 'technical' section of my fave track I know I'll have to go down to 1st for because they are 25-35mph turns, very sharp and short. In comparing gearing on the streets, if I approach a freeway turn around, at 35mph in 2nd, the bike is lugging when I give it gas and enter the turn. I don't have a pcV on mine, but even without one, I think this bike has a very tall 1st gear, regardless of whatever fueling issue you seem to have (evident from the logging on the software) did you try to enter any of the turns in 1st to compare? Was it any better?

There definitely aren't any 1st gear turns at Jennings. Do you still have the AIS system hooked up? That could be a big part of this...

I dont know if im having the same problem but heres my set up. I've got the full akra system with the gytr air filter. I programmed the pcv with the map from the pc website, and install my pcv. It runs like shit. I checked all my connections especially the gray wire that gets tapped to the white wire on the tps. it ran bad. the throttle seemed to have some sort of delayed response especially when i would crack it wide open. now i dont know much about the numbers and values what i do know is that i installed this thing correctly and it really sucks. i recently removed it, bike run great with out it. can anyone shed some light.

The delay is normal because you are connecting the tps to the throttle blades, not the grip.

My 07 R1 was doing that w/the Bazzaz. I had to go back to the base map or put 0's throughout the fields.

+50 is definitely not correct. Did you do the smog block off plates or at least disable the PAIR system? If not this would definitely cause your issues. Next I would look at the software and see what the AFR is reading at idle. Should be in the area of 13-14 assuming all is correct. Did you alter the Target AFR table at all? absoluteAG1- Any chance you can try running the PCV with a zero map? This would tell me if we have an issue with the unit itself or the mapping. Let me know.

absoluteag1 (http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/member.php?u=94113), did you figure out the problem? I just recently reinstall the pcv. i reprogrammed it and will take it out for a tough spin soon. I'll let you know if anything good or bad has happen.

I ride my bike very hard and seem to be the only person with a problem with the pcv. I do a lot of street riding but im at full throttle all the way up to redline in every gear after first on highways. this is when my problem occurs. well i made some changes so lets see if it worked.
